Grameenphone partners with Twitter to provide users a unique Cricket experience

Grameenphone has partnered with Twitter to give all its valued customers the chance to use Twitter for free for the duration of the high octane cricketing action between 13th February to 31st March 2015. This partnership will provide its users with the most comprehensive platform to follow the excitement and the pulse of the world tournament, one Tweet at a time.

Grameenphone customers will get access to Twitter by visiting twitter.com for the duration of the event without incurring any data charges. This offer for free data for use of Twitter will be valid from 13th February, 2015 to 31st March, 2015. A unique aspect of this service is that users without a Twitter account can experience the Cricket Timeline which includes scores and commentary by directly accessing twitter.com/i/cricket.

Grameenphone customers will get access to Twitter for the duration of the event without incurring any data charges. Users can access Twitter’s newly announced Cricket World Cup Timeline by searching for the hashtag #CWC15 on the Twitter app on Andriod or iOS and twitter.com/i/cricket via mobile web. Customers can also access this special feature timeline by accessing individual match hashtags like #INDvPAK or #AUSvENG.

On this Twitter timeline, users can engage with players, commentators and celebrities, watch exclusive pictures and videos and of course keep updated with all the latest scores without incurring any data charges.

And customers will also be able to follow their favourite accounts without any data charges to get updates from the official ICC Twitter account, @ICC or the Bangladesh Tigers, @BCBTigers and its players including Mushfiqur Rahim @mushfiqur15 or skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, @ImMashrafe as well as international legends like Viv Richards, @vivrichards56 and Shane Warne, @ShaneWarne
